Using Infrastructure to Build Revenue

Kassab Media of the United Arab Emirates was asked to create a large scale OOH advertising network for the Dubai Metro and sought to collaborate with Gilmore Group on the project.

We helped to identify prime advertising zones such as pedestrian bridges, viaducts and pillars, and the interior of stations.

Gilmore Group’s industrial designers conceptualized environments with integrated LED displays and additional freestanding components that would become a new revenue stream for the metro system in Dubai.

Although the project never came into full fruition, the digital, place-based advertising insights and concept work had an appreciable impact on actual implementation.
